This piece is one of four which will be included in the Art Gallery South West online winter show. 2020. Normally a title for a piece generally arrives during the process of making the work as does the meaning. For me this piece evokes a wave and the scrim included suggests a fishermans net. This way of working is not unusual in the arts and I feel it enables an artist to access the subconcious.
