FINE LINE.

We often have to tread a fine line and we wish it was wider. Here’s a poem about it:

A FINE LINE
There’s a fine line we all must tread,
a fine line between alive and dead,
a fine line between truth and lies,
a fine line you know.

It’s a fine line that seals our fate,
a fine line between love and hate,
a fine line between here and there,
a fine line you know.

Though you may wish it wasn’t so,
you’d like a stronger fence to grow,
a higher wall, a wider ledge,
to come to your defence.

Though you may feel the path you tread
is made of fear and cast of dread,
when you dive in you sink or swim
a fine line you know.

It’s a fine line it seems to me
stretching an eternity
further than the eye can see
a fine line you know.
