THE DEVIL’S IN THE DETAIL.

As we prepare for an announcement on how to begin to exit the lockdown it is widely felt that locking down will probably have been easier than what is to come. With 30 thousand deaths reported yesterday, the highest total in Europe so far, the delicate business of what to do and when to do it is not by any means an easy task. We are certainly not out of the woods yet. Given the distinct possibility of a new spike in infections combined with the growing economic ramifications there is a very delicate balance to be struck.  Lets just hope that decisions will be made with adequate consultation with experts, not only in this country but worldwide, and perhaps more importantly that the process will be transparent. The devil will certainly be in the detail.
