This work was specially commissioned for the recent wedding of George Calombaris in Athens. It reflects on the Greek Legend of Prometheus stealing fire back from Zeus. For a celebrity Chef, fire is an essential part of his tool kit, an element to be used, tamed and at the same time always respected. Fire is part of our life experiences, it can warm and comfort us and it can burn; such is the gift of fire to mankind.
