Going back to the womb,
examining the scan,
finding out just who you were
before your life began.
What became of unborn you
before life took its toll?
Where now the child that saw
the wonder of it all?
Now cynical, now clinical,
now sadly worldly wise,
we can only look at life
through grown up eyes.
