Alchemy is a treasure trove of retro and rustic antiquities situated in East street in Ashburton. Number 22, Tel: 07912649132. The proprietor Sean Breen has been supporting local artist for many years. I have a mini exhibition of work in the first floor gallery this week, sharing the premises with some unique and original work from several local artists.

The work I have on show is all mounted in antique gilt frames, a blend of contemporary art in gilt frames, which complement the retro nature of the Aladdin’s cave of pieces which fill the shop.
